ABOUT US
Established in 1957 by a few strong social women workers, the vision and the mission of the organisation is to uplift the women and empower them by imparting qualitative education and vocational training and give strong legal protection to the socially distressed women through cousnseling and make them skillful by providing appropriate vocational training so that they can engage themseleves in some gainful economic activities and become self reliant and thus to give a secure environment to the women at large irrespective off caste or creed. Healthy women is the base of a strong society, hence health programmes are also done. The organisation is solely run by women social workers and the activities, for the Welfare and Rights of the women. Thus the organisation is BY THE WOMEN, FOR THE WOMEN, OF THE WOMEN.
This establishment has grown in such a way that it has been granted as a registered Trust. More over apart from this donation received to this establishment is exempted under section 80G & 35AC. Donation from out country has been FCRA permissible.
OBJECTIVE :
1. To encourage all women and particularly of palitana to the direction of progress by
achieving social development.
2. To carry all activities which will inspire them to enrich their family,
their city and to be useful in the economic development of the nation with free co-
operative and serviceables attitute.
3. To undertake and carry on work of education. economic and social uplift of old women
irrespective of caste, creed, colour or age.
4. To provide for all sorts of educational aid and financial help by carrying on all or any of
the activities mentioned in rules.
5. To do all such acts, deeds and things which may be neccessary for achieving the
objects.
